What do mean by consumption of material.
Are you looking for sales orders for respective plant for each article. You can go to T-code VA05 in SAP ECC to see all the sales orders for respective period.In case you are looking for planned independent requirement for each plant, you can view them in SAP ECC using MD63:
In case you are using APO, you can go to /SAPAPO/RRP3 - Product View to see all the details.

Adding a field in the Selection of 9A_MALO extractor
Hi ,
9A_MALO extractor is used to transfer the data from APO to BW in our client environment.
Our requirement is to add one filter in APO based on the APO PLANNER(from a custom table) so that it will only export those products to BW.
as I see this is using the FM /SAPAPO/TS_DM_EXTRACT_DATA and there is a BADI available /SAPAPO/SDP_EXTRACT with its different methods.
I want to use the method CHANGE_INPUT of the BADI so that I can add APO SNP planner at run time.
When I tried to add that then at the time of execution it is throwing error.
Kindly let me know in case you guys need more details on this.

Dear Amol,
In this context, i need to check how much materials have been used for each plant. Eg: raw material A usage in plant B, plant C and so on.
The reason why i'm looking for this due to huge variance of materials inventory when comes to month end. And, I could able to see if there's any plant has over-consumption materials.

Hi Pavan,
In the Data Selection of Info package, you can use an ABAP routine for product. You can have this routine point to your custom table where you can maintain attributes like SNP Planner and additional fields of Location-products. All the materials which correspond to this selection will be chosen in the InfoPackage.

I found why is transfer: ECC in table T439A on field TERBV for MB the value 1. I maintained 3 and now I haven't any flag on use period factor for new products.
Note 1931231:Scheduling indicator for period lot size (V439A-TERBV) is not transferred
Symptom
In transaction MM01/02, you maintain a period lot size and transfer it to APO. In customizing OMI4, the period lot size has scheduling indicator maintained. However in APO you can't find it in location product master transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1, tab "Lot Size" -> sub tab "Procedure".
Environment
· SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO)
· SAP ERP Central Components
Cause
Lack of information about the standard behavior.
Resolution
The scheduling indicator of a period lot size is mapped to two fields 'Use Period Indicator' (REQ_COVER_FLAG) and 'Period Factor' (REQ_COVER_TYPE) in SCM production location master data. They can be found in tab "Lot Size" -> sub tab "Quantity and Date Determination".
The specific mapping rules are:
ECC T439A-TERBV value
(Blank, 1,2,3 and 4) SCM REQ_COVER_FLAG value
(ON/OFF) SCM REQ_COVER_TYPE value
(0-1)
1 ON 0
2 ON 1
All others OFF 0

No requirements or dependent demand at Semi-Finished Goods from PPDS planned orders.
Hi Experts,
Would like to ask you regarding requirements or dependent demand at Semi-Finished Goods (SFG).
First, let me inform you that we are using PPM (both PPDS and SNP) in APO. For PPDS, it is transferred to APO via CIF and for SNP it is manually created in APO based on PPDS PPM.
Our FG is produce at location M1. In ECC BOM structure, this FG contains SFG as an assembly and it's also produce at location M1. Both FG and SFG are being planned and transferred to APO as master data. Production version is created for FG at location M1. This is transferred to APO as PPDS PPM. Based on this, we create SNP PPM.
In APO, we plan the FG to a different location M2. The demand or forecast of FG from distribution center creates a stock transport requisition at location M2.
We run SNP heuristics at FG-M2, this produces SNP planned orders and requirements/dep demand are created for SFG as well.
The issue is when we run Product heuristics at FG-M2. This produced PPDS planned orders but with NO requirements/dep demand being created at SFG level.
Can you please confirm if we have a correct or missing master data setup especially on PPM? Also, whenever we run product heuristics via rrp3, we noticed that Source of Supply is 'blank' but then again PPDS PPM is available in APO. We also noticed that only when we edit the PPDS planned order and change or assign the source of supply, this is the only time that the requirements/dep demand at SFG are being created. Please advise. Thanks!

In order to run the extractor, you would already have an info package, transformation, DTP etc. The info package allows you to choose data selection i.e. which location-products you'd like to extract the data for. In the Info Package data selection tab for MATRN, maintain the value for "Type" as "6 - ABAP Routine".
An ABAP developer can write a code in the routine to pass materials numbers which correspond to certain SNP Planner or any other master data attribute by maintaining these combinations in a table.

SAP APO PPDS Optimizer
Hi experts,
If in APO PPDS for a material in a plant I have several resources and therefore I have several PDS, and the production orders saturate the capacity of a resource (PDS)
When I execute the optimizer and it detects that a resource (PDS) is saturated the optimizer sends some production orders to another resource (PDS) to remove the overhead?
If the PPDS Optimizer does not send some production orders to other resource (PDS) what I have to do for it sends some production orders to other resource (PDS)?

Adding CVC's
Hi Gurus,
I have a sales order for which GATP is getting triggered. Since the corresponding CVC's were not created earlier, i created the corresponding CVC. Later i updated the product allocation in the planning book for the particular selection. what are the other things i should be doing? Is there any program that should be run to update the product allocation in the planning area? Kindly advise.

Hi Srini
There is no technical restriction on number of CVCs to be added into realignment table.
But it´s good to realignment in small chucks because of run times. All the CVCs get locked during this time so it you have big number of CVCs then job could run for longer time and lock the CVCs are longer time.
Make sure you remove Activate Application Log flag to improve your run time.

Depends on your setup. Normally,
1. create CVCs
2. Maintain allocation qtys against cvcs in your planning book
3. copy cvcs to product allocation group
4. copy allocation qtys to product allocation group.
