Hi Anil,
The values for max earliness and lateness are already maintained since we have demands in past.
Thanks

Prajna,
That's a bit like asking 'what are all the things to consider before implementing SAP ERP'. The answer is 'everything that will be required to support the business requirements'.
APO is a substantial system, with many modules. Most implementations only include a small subset of the modules that are available for implementation. It is impossible to answer such a question without knowing more about what functionality is to be implemented.
Typically, a project team will gather information from the appropriate businesspeople in an effort to develop the scope of the project. Only after the scope is known can you then begin thinking about what needs to be considered before implementation.

Valk,
The fields that show when you hover the mouse can be selected for each graphical object in the Planning Board Profile config.
Open the Planning board profile /n/sapapo/cdpsc0, select your planning board profile, on the left side of the screen, double click on graphical objects folder. This will list a bunch of objects. When you double click the object ID, you will see the settings to show text for that object where you can choose fields as you wish.
However, you need to know which graphical object is being used for a particular operation in the DS Board. You can dig deeper via Planning Board Profile -> Chart -> Decision table for graphical objects

Did you do any search on this topic yet?
CTM does not support Target Days.
Think about it. CTM is order based planning. It doesn't look at future demand.

Hi Debasis,
See if this KBA 1502684 helps.
Thanks, Nikhil
Hi Sony,
See if note 1843121 helps.
Thanks, Nikhil
I am curious.
Are you saying you want TLB to create a STO for a quantity larger than the deployment req quantity.
Standard TLB will only convert Deployment Req's without usage of an OSS note.
What solution did you use?
Hello,
Please try by using Reuse mode = use suitable receipts with avoid surplus
Also refer KBA 2010195 - Avoid surplus receipts in PPDS planning by setting Alert Threshold in product master

Hi all.
Is it possible to transfer planned orders created with PP/DS to ECC with status dispatched? We noticed that the status dispatched when we convert from planned order to production order is set.
Our aim is to flag the field capacity for planned order dispatched (PLAF-KAPFX) automatically when PP/DS creates a planned order.
Is it possible?
Thanks
HI Ada and Marius
Thanks for responses. Current status is SAP has recommended few notes. I am trying to check these. will provide the note numbers in my next update.

Hello Experts,
I would like to view my planning book key-figure in alternate UOM as defined in ECC master data. For that i have transferred units of measurement via transfer global settings in RSA1 but still unable to see the third AUOM in /sapapo/mat1.
This is what i see in ECC MM03 transaction
This is what /sapapo/mat1 shows.
Best Regards
Kartik
Hi Kartik,
Of course you have transferred global settings but make sure you see UoM YD in both systems in transaction CUNI (provide screen shot if possible).
Make sure no badi/exit is active, example EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_PROD_001 which might restrict shifting specific UoM.
Try to de-activate integration model and reactivate and check results.
Let us know if it helped or provide more inputs.
Regards
Rahul
Hello,
Are you able to see the YD in APO config. Follow the path: SPRO - SAP NETWEVER - GENERAL OPTION - CHEK UNIT OF MEASURE.
You have to create U.O.M in APO and then send again the products thought the CIF.
Thanks,
Regards Marius
Hi Mauro,
I don't see why you would not be able to send the dispatched PO in ECC. Of course, you need to have integration models from ECC to APO for Pl.Order and Prod.Order and publications created for transfer from APO to ECC.
Thanks,
Regards Marius
Hello Debasis,
In the Basic Settings of the heuristic, please enter 10 days (or the numbers of days used in past) in the Maximum Earliness of a Receipt and Reuse mode - Use Suitable Receipts Elements.
Thanks,
Regards Marius
All integration model and publications are fine: I can send the PO in ECC, but they arrive without the status dispatched. We tried to send:
- PO Planned order (not firmed, unconfirmed) - Category AI
- Planned order (firmed, unconfirmed) - Category AJ
Neither of them arrives in ECC with status dispatched. I would like to know if it is possible.
Thanks for you reply.
Hi MIK APO,
Please, check the activity relationships in the PDS, to see whether the relations defined in the Master Recipe have been integrated as expected.
Additionally, in the Strategy Profile used for order creation, make sure that, in tab Strategy Parameters f. Dependent Objects, Order-Int. Relationships are set to "Always Consider" and also that flag "Consider Maximum Intervals" is set.

Tiago
Hi Jagdish,
You need to make sure the Handling Resource is included in the Propagation Range.
If you do not want to include Handling Resource in the Work Area, use Propagation Range SAPALL.
KBA below gives more details:
2244236 Scheduling error No valid modes available for activity in the Detailed Scheduling Planning Board
