Re: Forecast deletion in ECC

I wish it was that simple.

MD74/MD75 will ONLY delete/reorg PIR that exist in the past.

I want to delete PIR's that exist in the future.

Both of these tcode use the Reorg Period set in OMP8  but you can only enter a positive value.

Hello,

You can delete the future PIR you have an option of Key date without reorganization period.

The key date refers to the to-date of the reorganization

OMP8 to mention the Period for requirements consumption only in some positive value.

Period which determines from which date that data is reorganized. This date is calculated by

subtracting the entered number of days from the current date.  All data which is older than this date

will be reorganized.

Refer SAP note 135807 - Reorganization of planned independent requirements (Consulting)

Reorganization of Planned IndependentRequirements-MD74, MD75 & MD76

Hi Paul,

In planning book, you can use below button to change peiodicity to display the data, however it only displays data in liveCache - in which disaggregation is done in liveCache. However in period split function, splitting is done using ABAP coding, so it does not follow the logic as in planning book. This means you cannot simulate period split in planning book, but you can use the simulation function in the period split screen.

Hi,

I'm not able to find the sales order in MD04 also. the schedule line category is CP. i have also checked the IM for the product/location combination.it is there in the IM. i checked for any credit block against the SO in VKM3, it says it is not relevant.

Hi Sandeep

Have you run CCR first for sales order

Transaction MD04 reads the sales order requirements from tables VBBE and  VBBS check those table .

check your material master mrp3 Individualrequirement. Then it will display Sales order no inMD04 screen.

APO side

You can try resending all the Sales Orders to SCM by running Initial Supply  CFM9 (report RIMODINI) for Sales Order Integration Model., monitor the queues in /SAPAPO/CQ.

Also try running /SAPAPO/SDRQCR21 and check is there any inconsistencies

Just see there are many threads for above question you can refer it . If any help required let us know

regards

Hi Sandeep,

Check Field "Req Transfer" in "Requirement Class" setting in T code OVZG. It should be checked.

AND

Check field "Req./Assembly" in Schedule line setting in T code VOV6.This should also be checked.

if the above 2 are fine, then check assignment of Req type to Item Category in OVZI.

Do let me know if this help you.

Thanks

Roshan

I was thinking the same thing but doesn't seem to work that way.

I deleted my plant from OPM8.

But there is a default value in the OPM8 table with plant = "*" that can not be deleted.

Delete not possible as entry * contains default values

Message no. 6P701

So I have PIR created via MD61 which created a IndReq VSF element visible in MD04.

I run MD75 with a reorganization date far into the future and the PIR is not being deleted.

I don't see anything listed in the SCN Reorganization of Planned IndependentRequirements-MD74, MD75 & MD76  or OSS 135807:  Reorganization of planned independent requirements

that says it will delete future PIR's for positive values.   My values are not zero.

If it should work I will raise an OSS message to verify with SAP why it is not working.

Reorganization of Planned IndependentRequirements-MD74, MD75 & MD76

2. Reorganization of schedule lines (Transaction MD75):

The system checks which planned independent requirements were set to zero - either by reduction or consumption or by "requirement adjustment".Schedule lines that have a quantity of zero before key date are deleted from database

And OSS 135807:  Reorganization of planned independent requirements (consulting) says:

2. MD75 (RM60RR30): Delete Old Requirements Records:This transaction also consists of two parts:

a) Deletion of all planned independent requirements schedule lines from table PBED which have a planned quantity of zero.If you mark checkbox "Do not delete non-empty withdrawal quantity" on the selection screen, only those schedule lines are deleted of which the planned quantity and simultaneously the withdrawal quantity is zero.

b) Deletion of all item records from table PBIM for which no longer any schedule line records and any history records exist.

TLB demand date determination

Dear guru's,

Currently I'm investigating in implementing TLB for our company.

Here for we want to use TLB to determine the shipping of goods based on demands.

One of the questions we are facing at the moment is: we are not able to figure out what is driving the demand date. (date of which the goods are shipped from the source location)

It is clear the total time is derived from the t-lane and GI/GR processing time, but the demand dates seem fixed on a particular day of the week.

I could not find any documentation on this. Can you help me in the right direction?

Using descrptive charcteristics in demand priortization.

Hello Experts ,

I require input on creation of sort profiles in demand priortization  using  Descriptive characteristics.

In SPRO , in tcode - Define sort profile , I do not see any descriptive characteristics.

Where to define the sort profile for descriptive characteristics.

Is there some other transaction.

I would like to define it in customizing and assign to the ctm profile.

Regards

AN

Abhijit,

You have this in SPRO

Advanced Planning and Optimization - Supply Chain Planning - Multilevel Supply & Demand Matching (SDM) - Capable-to-Match (CTM) - Define Special Sorting of Descriptive Characteristics

Under this you define sort criteria for required field. In this you define sort item along with its value.

I hope you will be able to customize the same.

Re: Reserve a percentage of stock on hand for a particular customer

Dinesh,

Just a thought:

You can split the stock into two storage locations in that plant (DC) itself. First Sloc for high priority customer and another Sloc for low priority customer.

  • This will split the quantity as per business need.
  • You can assign stock accordingly to the customer.
  • This will controlled in sales order through storage location thus ATP on this level.
  • If you have excess in either of Sloc then you can use from other Sloc also by assigning other Sloc in sales order.
  • If you want to check on plant level whether it is possible then you can also check at this level (which means without Sloc) and can deliver to high prio customer from both locations.

DC (Plant)
SLOC1SLOC2
High Prio CustomerLow Prio Customer

Let us know if it helped.

Rahul

Hi,

Now we are able to display the alerts after deleting all the alerts from the table. Thanks for suggestions.

I don't understand the question?

TLB simply aggregates the Deployment Req's into a single STO.  The dates are not changed and no order is created.

ECC tables for shelf life

$

Dear experts ,

My client is a very popular chicken merchant, most Americans have tasted his brand of chicken

he sells chicken in different variants ( varianty   configured with classes girdled to master recipe in ECC ) and in APO  I asked him to invoke shelf life , because it is chicken and its  perishable , he agreed to my natural logic -

so

I will be CIF ing   stocks, sales orders, PR and PO  from ECC

Further upon I will be working on SNP stock transfers and SNP planned orders which will hold Shelf life data ( production date minus expiration date)

Now I am into master data validation alone  relevant  to CTM invoking shelf life to kick start the project

I would like to collect the ECC table details to analyse further Master data check up.

What are the ECC tables likely ,that you can you think of for analysis’s against this scenario and master data’s that comes under the ambit of shelf life apart from the above.

Your support will help gain momentum to my project

Thanks
