Hi Pavas
Please find below the link which will provide more detail information regarding Proportional Factor calculation.

Hello,
Have you tried using SAP_PP_022 Multilevel planning of individual orders.
This heuristic enables you to carry out multilevel planning of an order, taking into account the low-level codes.
The system uses the heuristic that you have assigned in the Heuristic Settings for Multilevel Planning.
If you are changing any master data for finished product then try to use below heuristic
SAP_PP_021 New explosion

Hi Pravas,
Will try to explain with same example -
Suppose you have total 6 CVC for a given combination as given belwo-
P1 | P2 | |
Total | 10 | 20 |
CVC1 | 1 | 4 |
CVC2 | 1 | 4 |
CVC3 | 2 | 3 |
CVC4 | 2 | 3 |
CVC5 | 2 | 3 |
CVC6 | 2 | 3 |
Fixed proportion -
Total count for all CVCs = 20 + 10 = 30
Sum for each CVC across all period = 5
So, proportional factor = 5/30 = 16.66%
So, if you have another keyfigure which is based on keyfigure APODPDANT, it will be disaggregated in thi proportion.
Detailed Proportion -
Here proportional factor for CVC are time - dependent. In this calculation for period 1 - calculation would be -
1st CVC – 1/10
2nd CVC – 1/10
3rd CVC – 2/10
4th CVC – 2/10
5th CVC – 2/10
6th CVC – 2/10
Note - You can use Fixed proportion without parallel processing to view detailed logs after executing proportional factor to see how calculation is being performed.
Hope it helps you.

Hi Experts,
I am Basically from BW/BPC back ground Consultant.
I have started to learn SAP APO. I need some documents to learn, Can one please provide me any APO documents like SCM 200 ,210, 215,220, 230, 250, 260, 612,617.
Thanks,
Firoz
Hi Amol,
I tested this option. But this is only showing 'absolute' shortages. So real minusses in available quantities. Correct me if i'm wrong..
HI R.S.
variance in h(ours) under requirement/receipt alert type which will show the delay in hours.
Thanks
That's correct. I think we don't understand eachother right. There is not a shortage. I would only be notified if the Purchase order (receipt) is delivered within 24 hours of consumption. So MRP-logically there is no shortage.
Hi,
i have some issues in sap apo dp on outlear alerts as below.
1.in Planning book Z_DAP_DP_STAT_FCST the demand planners are unable to display the Outlier Alerts.
When clicking on "display/refresh alerts" this will result in a ABAP runtime error.
, this seems to affect all Demand Planners and the planning process.
2. when we run the forecast in DP LEVEL I MMEDIATELY ALERTS WILL BE GENERATED iF IT IS THERE. in our case it will take 1-2 mins time.but it is taking more than a hour.already we have checked in alerts data base table am_alert.but there is no alerts. again i went to st22 t.code it shows that Abap Run timedout error.what might be the issue. what to do for this one .
Hi R.S
Then I think you are looking at the wrong alert i.e. PPDS alert on late/critical receipt.
you require to create your own macro alert in the SNP planning book to capture this scenario.
Thanks
Amol
Too bad there is no such thing for PPDS. Macro alert for SNP will probably only be able to spot shortages on daily level instead of hourly level? Anyway thanks for your answers Amol.
Hi Ajay,
Since you are creating Location-product master using Ciffing, you can use simple process for doing this using user exit- ZXCIFU01 in ECC.
This Exit is called during location-product master creation. in this user exit you can hardcode, maintain control/ config table which will ease out future process as well.
However, if you want to do this through the BADI implementation please check that SCM side user Exit: ZXCIFUSERU08 (Function module:EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_PROD_001) had been commented. Actually SAP has discontinued this user exit with teh BADI.
Thank You!

Hi ,
While running LIVE Cache consistency check for stocks through /n/SAPAPO/OM17 transaction we got few errors for stocks , when i click fix the inconsistency it is dumping
SQL error 423 occurred while executing Native SQL.
Error 423 has occurred on the current database connection "DEFAULT".
Database error text:
Triggering SQL statement: "EXECUTE PROCEDURE "APS_STOCK_CHANGE""
Any help to fix this is most welcome.
regards
Vinay
Hi Vinay
Do CCR for the stocks check any characteristics are missing in stocks . also check in OM16 whether they exists in LC.
Let us know the result

Addition:
There is a Means of transport for the vendor-plant-material for this product.
I found a queue in cq transaction. I checked in r3 system in the mrp field the Plant-sp.matl status was 04(still to be developed). i checked inbound queues to see any of it was stuck, inbound queues got stuck. the qrfc queue status says SYSFAIL . Please throw some light on this issue.
SAP claims that the new IBP solution will work along with SAP APO and not be a replacement for APO. In what way will IBP complement APO? What would be the major business benefits of using IBP over the existing APO system?
Hi,
Is there any report or best way to find negative value in bucket capacity across all the resources ?
In /n/SAPAPO/RES01 we we need to go inside SNP Bucket Capacity -- Bucket Capacity and check any negative value. When there are more resources difficult to search -ve value.
Any lead to find is most welcome.
Vinay
Hi Vinay,
I am not sure why you would have -ve values in Bucket Capacity but to answer the question, you can use the Standard Planning Book / Data View 9ASNP94 / SNP94(2) , capacity check data view, load your resources and look at available capacity.

AK
Hello,
Have you selected Vendor(location) in selection criteria while running SNP heuristic?
