Dear experts,
Nowadays, I'm facing with a new requirement associated to Location Hierarchy. According with our business requirements we must generate an SNP Optimization considering the following conditions:
Our model requirement demand that we have to run for finished goods for an external provider and we have to run by Regions (5 different). The model have to consider all the inputs (stock, transits, Forecast, etc.) at locations level and generate a purchased plan.
My idea it's to create a DUMMY Location and create a Location Hierarchy in order to consider all locations per Region.
I have spent a lot of time reviewing documentation and SAP Forums / Blogs but I couldn't have a clear idea about the configuration that I need. At this moment, I already configured the following items:
* Create the DUMMY Location (/SAPAPO/LOC3)
* Create the Storage Resource for DUMMY Location (/SAPAPO/RES01)
* Create Transportation Line from External Provider to DUMMY Location (/SAPAPO/SCC_TL1)
* Create Location Hierarchy (/SAPAPO/RELHSHOW)
* DUMMY Location as 001 Location Group
* Location 1, 2 and 3 as 002 Location
* Assign the Model (Active Version)
Nevertheless, I checked the Planning Books, but I couldn't see the Stock / Forecast / Transits from all Locations (Dependents or suns) grouped into the DUMMY Location (Father).
I will appreciate any advise, suggestion or documentation regarding this.
