Thanks, yes it seems your assumption is correct.

I further tested this scenario & found that any requirement that is within SNP Product Horizon, then the  system is creating one single order.

Furthermore, the system will create individual order for individual requirement outsuide SNP Product Horizon.

In below example, demands upto 02/09/2016 = 4,400 qty are planned with one single order as SNP Product Horizon (in second screen shot) is till 02/14/2016 & hence demands from 02/15/2016 onwards are planned individually
