Undoubtedly, this is a good option. We have followed the following steps :

1. Deactivated the Integration model.
2. Run the transaction CCR.
3. Got the errors in regard to " Not In Integration Model"
4. Cleared The Errors. (at this point APO was not having Sales Order element).
5. Booked a fresh sales order. Logically, it should not have flown from ECC to APO, but it  did and consumed the forecast as well which we do not want.
6. We stopped the publishing of sales order using transaction CP2 and publishing type as "53".
7. Again booked a fresh sales order.
8. But still it flown to APO from ECC and consumed forecast.

Please advise where we are doing wrong OR what else needs to be done to stop the flow of sales order from ECC to APO.
